Dussehra is one of the most celebrated festivals of the Hindu community in India. It marks the restoration of contentment over despair. Dussehra comes after nine days of Navratri and illuminates our lives with the lights of hope and joy. The triumph of good over evil and right over wrong is symbolised through this festival.

Ramleela is a dramatic folk re-enactment of the life of Lord Rama and his victory over Ravana that is staged during the festival of Navratri. The Ramleela festivities were declared by UNESCO as one of the 'Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity’ in 2008.

One of the most vibrant and colourful Ramleela was witnessed in NVPS, when the students of Pre Primary and Pre School set the stage on fire with their scintillating performances.

The show entitled as 'RAMAYAN MANCHAN’ spanned over five days from26th to 30th September, 2022 in the school indoor stadium. The show seemed miraculous with all sparkling lights and mesmerizing music. The way the students depicted the story of Ramayana glorified the essence of the festival and conquest of good over evil. The show was a huge success and well appreciated by all.

The students of Classes I - V also indulged themselves in numerous activities and celebrated the quintessence of the festival. The activities included role play, poster making, Chaupayi recitals etc.

Our beloved Principal Ma’am entails special appreciation for the support and love that she bestows on all. Without her assistance, the show would not have been such a huge success. The celebration ended joyfully emphasizing the necessity of always being truthful and honest in all our actions and endeavours.
