To showcase gratitude for the innumerable gifts endowed to us by our benevolent Mother Earth, NVPS observed Earth Week from 20thApril 2021 to 23rd April 2021. Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 every year. The day aims to raise awareness among masses about climate change and global warming. The day especially inspires the youth to act towards the protection of the environment and focus on the need for conservation. Earth Day is recognised as the largest civic event in the world.

The effervescent students of National Victor Public School enthusiastically participated in various activities to commemorate the uniqueness of our altruistic Mother Earth. Throughout the week, an array of creative activities was organized with a view to sensitize the children about the conservation of natural resources and to motivate them to do their bit towards making their planet even more beautiful. The students joined in whole heartedly in the activities like Show and Tell, Go Green – Plant a Sapling, Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Constructing Bird Feeders, Pollution Catchers and Terrariums… to name just a few. They also took it on themselves to pass on the zeal to their families and friends who put in their efforts alongwith the children to make this week a majestic success.

The week-long celebrations culminated with an interaction session “Climate Action Caucus", where the students of the Middle Wing shared their views with School Principal, Mrs. Veena Mishra, who encouraged them to continue with their sustained green initiatives with paramount zest.
