Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Akshat Kaushal visited the school on the occasion  of Women’s Day and interacted with senior students of classes  IX & XI. He talked about  the pivotal role played by his mother and teacher in his success. “You are the most privileged of all generation and have the choice to challenge… so be the change and the choice-maker”, said the ACP in his address. As he referred to the Connecting Dots Speech by Steve Jobs,  he also urged them to read biographies and adopt fitness routine to tread ahead strongly. He also advocated the use of the emergency number 112  for any such situation.

School Principal, Mrs. Veena Mishra also told the girls to recognize and acknowledge their self worth before anything else. She shared anecdotes  on   societal trends and harped upon  the need  to consciously develop respect for oneself.

‘You owe yourself the love that you so freely give to other people.’

The session sparked a volley of questions about career choices, ways to overcome hurdles in the path and changing face of Police,  which were answered by the esteemed guest and the Principal  with simplicity and in a light-hearted tone.
