“Little Chef Day Activity” was held on October 12, 2020 where the little ones showed off their culinary skills. Cooking with kids helps get them interested in trying healthy foods. It gives us a chance to introduce them to a range of fresh, healthy foods, as well as open up a host of new opportunities for learning. Reading and vocabulary were introduced with new words such as peel, mix, and squeeze. Choosing foods together and involving children with healthy seasonal cooking and eating from an early age, will set a foundation for lifelong healthy eating habits. They gathered hands-on experience of ‘fireless cooking’. Little hands enthusiastically mixed the salads and prepared sandwiches. They relished the mouth-watering Sandwich garnished with the special ingredients of ‘love and learning’!
